OUR CAPABILITY

Sorenmobler have been in the timber processing and furniture manufacturing industry for over 40 years. We started manufacturing solid timber furniture in 1976 from Radiate Pine. Over the years we have progressed and diversified into using some of New Zealand's finest Native timbers such as Rimu, Totara, Matai and Kauri. In addition to our beautiful native timbers we import American Ash and Oak direct from the mills in USA.
Our passion for timber and crafting furniture give us the unique ability to apply our industry knowledge to the commercial joinery and shop fitting applications. We hold a number of timbers in stock and can provide machined components both finished and unfinished. Minimum Order quantities apply.

TIMBER OPTIONS


We have a range of timbers in stock such as New Zealand Rimu, American Ash, and American Oak.
We have a wide access to many other timbers species such as Riverwood (recovered Rimu), Matai, Totara and Pine.





 
   


FACTORY & STAFF

We have a great team of 25 here in our 30,000sq ft factory here in Wanganui. Our Team are committed to being proactive and responsive to our customers wants and delivering high quality product.

CNC MACHINES


We have 4 CNC Machining centers including 2 x 5 Axis CNCs, with a 6m and 3.2m bed. We are able to work with your CAD files or our design team can create our own depending on the job specs.
With a full range of general woodworking machinery including mortisers, tennoners, triple belt sanders and edge banders we are able to do most machining operations.

SPRAY & FINISHING

We can facilitate most aspects of timber finishing with 3 Spray booths including a down-draught and a pressurized heated booth.
   


LEAN MANUFACTURING


Since 2001, Sorenmobler have been working with Lean Manufacturing principles which ensure our capacity is effectively managed to produce product on-time, in-specification and within budget.
